At KalaMals our litters are whelped in our home and are raised "underfoot" until they are ready to go to their new homes at 8-12 weeks of age. All puppies are started on basic obedience, crate-training and housebreaking. We stress proper socialization and training at an early age. Every puppy is sold on a AKC non-breeding agreement. Each puppy will be sent home with an inclusive puppy package with parent’s pedigrees, training/grooming tips, and information about your puppy.
We've achieved 35 owner-handled champions, always striving to enhance our line. Breeding priorities at KalaMals lie in health, structure, and temperament. Only physically and mentally robust dogs are selected for breeding, ensuring responsible practices. Each litter we produce fills us with pride. Negligent breeding, disregarding health issues, is unjust, as it unfairly burdens pet buyers with serious health problems that could have been avoided. A dog I wouldn't embrace as a pet won't be bred by us. Love and respect for this breed, as our cherished family members, drive us to seek like-minded individuals for our puppies. Pups are nurtured indoors, receiving ample socialization, and prepared for a wonderfully healthy life with their new owners.
