All of my adult dogs are genetic tested. All of my pups are examined by my vets, given first vaccines and microchip. Each of my pups also have a health guarantee. As far as temperament testing, we work with each of our pups according to their individual personality. A pups personality changes throughout their youth and an owner must work with that pup according to it's ongoing behavior and personality change. My pups leave me confident and I speak with, send emails on raising a pup successfully, and rearing a pup with ongoing rules and boundaries. This is a must! Temperament Testing is fine but it only tells a person what that pups temperament is at that time. That's not enough~~ My reviews over these past 15 years speak for themselves. I would ask you to Google Highborn's reviews, check my Facebook Review Page as well as SearchBreeders.com My clients tell our story best.
I have owned dogs for over 50 years. I not only breed dogs but I understand them and how they think. From as far back as I can remember dogs would follow me home from school or when I was out playing with friends. People would come to my home to collect their dogs from my porch because if they escaped the house or yard, they would come to my house. Although I didn't have a dog during those years, it wasn't unusual for their to be 5 or more dogs on our porch. I received, owned and trained my first dog at age 8. By age 10 people would knock on my parents door and ask if I could help catch their dog or if I could help with a dog problem. I worked at the ASPCA at age 17. It was a kill shelter and I learned exactly how cruel people could be and how easily they would surrender their dog...for a vacation, a new baby arrival...or because it peed on the floor. This shaped me into the breeder I am today. I like to place my pups in loving homes where the owner will love their pup like I love my dogs. In 15 years I have only had 4 dogs returned to me and the reasons were family death, child onset allergy (unable to breathe), life changing injury etc... I don't allow my dogs to go to just anyone... it must be a family member!!
