Prior to breeding, we prioritize genetic testing and screening for hips, elbows, heart, and eyes in both our sire and dam. Complying with the Golden Retriever Club of America's by-laws, we ensure that breeding dogs and bitches possess actual OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) certificates for hips and elbows, certified after 24 months of age. While genetic testing may not be mandatory for the GRCA, it remains important to us. Our puppies undergo deworming, and in some cases, dew claw removal, along with vaccinations using NeoPar and NeoVac vaccines. Before going to their new homes, they receive a thorough vet health checkup at 8 weeks to test for worms, parasites, and bacteria. We understand the vulnerability of puppies' immune systems and take necessary steps to address any concerns with dewormers and medication. Our commitment extends to socializing, stimulating, training, and exposing our puppies to various environments, ensuring their complete mental stability.
