Trax puppies are meticulously raised in a home environment, ensuring they receive ample socialization with cats, kids, water, livestock, and exposure to birds and swimming. They are also provided with basic obedience lessons, setting a solid foundation for their training. Additionally, Trax puppies born in Canada are microchipped for identification purposes. Every Trax litter goes through a comprehensive assessment of puppy temperament, hunting aptitude, and conformation when they reach 7 to 8 weeks of age. This thorough evaluation helps in matching each puppy to their ideal prospective home, taking into consideration their unique qualities and characteristics.
The Trax Weimaraner breeding program is an extensive network spanning across North America, comprised of passionate competitors and breeders who share a common goal. Under the expert guidance of head coach Shirley Nilsson, this collaborative community strives to produce and obtain exceptional puppies that embody confidence, health, sound temperaments, and excellent conformation. The program places a strong emphasis on genetic diversity, natural field ability, and a remarkable aptitude for excelling in various performance events. Notably, the Trax breeding program has a special focus on producing Dual Champion Weimaraners, truly embodying the essence of their motto: "Home of Beautiful Working Dogs."
