Ingredients

  • Egg(s) - 1
  • Peanut Butter - 1/2cup
  • Pumpkin Puree - 1/3cup
  • Oat Flour - 2cup

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk the egg. Add in the peanut butter and pumpkin puree, mixing until smooth.
  3. Add Dry Ingredients: Sprinkle in the cinnamon and gradually add the oat flour. If using homemade oat flour (from ground oats), start with 1 ¾ to 2 cups, as it tends to be thicker than store-bought versions. Mix the flour into the dough with your hands, adding more flour a tablespoon at a time if the dough feels sticky.
  4. Roll & Cut: Once your dough is well mixed and not sticky, roll it into a large ball. Place it on a flat surface lined with parchment paper. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough to about ½ inch thick. Use cookie cutters to cut out fun shapes and place them on the prepared baking tray. The cookies can be placed close together since they won’t rise or expand.
  5. Reuse the Dough: Gather the leftover dough, knead it slightly, and roll it out again to cut more cookies. Continue this process until all the dough is used.
  6. Bake: Place the tray on the bottom rack of your oven and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the bottoms of the treats turn golden brown.
  7. Cool & Serve: Let the treats cool completely before offering them to your dog. Then watch your pup enjoy their tasty fall snack!
