Instructions

  1. Fill a double boiler with water and bring it to a boil.
  2. Place the cauliflower florets in a steam basket over the boiling water and cover.
  3. Steam the cauliflower until it starts to get tender, approximately 10 minutes.
  4. In a large skillet, cook the ground turkey until fully cooked and there is no pink color.
  5. While the turkey is cooking, prepare the vegetables: Peel and chop the carrots. Chop the zucchini.
  6. Drain off any fat from the skillet and discard.
  7. Add the chicken liver to the skillet with the cooked ground turkey, and cook until the liver is fully cooked and no longer pink.
  8. Remove the liver from the skillet and allow it to cool slightly. Chop the cooked chicken liver into small pieces.
  9. In the double boiler, add the chopped zucchini, carrots, and broccoli florets. Continue steaming until the vegetables are tender but not mushy, approximately 6-8 minutes.
